Hanging at the Hospital

At first Sydney was disapponted in the hospital Johnny had his surgery at because it was nothing like the one mommy works at (Shriners: SLC), but she quickly learned she liked the jello in the frig and the trapeeze bar in Johnny's room.

Its . . .Back

So after batteling with pain for the last year, Johnny finally went under the "knife" and had the discs in his back repaired. Other than asking the nurse if she wanted to cuddle with him when she innocently asked him if he was cold, he overall did amazing and has been a great patient.

Let the purging begin

Well, I have decided to neglect my laundry and household chores to finally blog, but since I cannot commit to how long I will be in the mood I am going to start with the most recent stuff.

Powder

This weekend we expereinced powder- for Syd and Johnny it was in the form of snow in the mountains as they went skiing/snowboarding (evidently Johnny did not take any pics)- for Cash and myself it was in the form of donuts!

Dancing Queen and brother

Sydney has been taking gymnastics and dance at the Little Gym since September. She had her big "show week" performance tonight-it was really cute. Cash also took advantage of being able to play in the gym

Our Gingerbread House

A couple of years ago my friend, Heidi, taught me how to make gingerbread houses from scratch-while amazing- this year Costco had an entire kit for ten bucks- much more in line with my energy level!

Christmas Cookies

I love to bake so Christmas time is a great excuse to bake! Even Cash helped out with the sugar cookies (don't worry he was the only one to eat his creations)

Santa Pancakes

With the Allers still in town we celebrated Advent with Santa pancakes (I especially love pancakes when I am pregnant)and pancakes with whipped cream beards even better!
