Happy Birthday Johnny!

Johnny turned 33 today! As he has told me every year as the day approaches that he stopped having birthdays when he truned 25. We were talking and could not believe that we have celebrated 12 of his birthdays together- the kids and I joined him for lunch and then he came home early and we headed out to dinner at Timpanyaki, a Japanese steak house, the kids had a great time as did the birthday boy.

Sydney's 1st Talk

The last two times Syd's sunbeam class has been assigned to give the talk, scripture, or prayer in Primary we have been out of town-so I was so excited (Syd was too! I wrote out her talk on how repentance, forgiveness, and prayer strengthen my family. She practiced and was so excited to be able to say in on Sunday. We got to church (on time for once) and Syd went up to the mike (I was a little nervous) and the mike did not work! Syd was so bummed. I was bummed. Johnny was bummed. Syd tried her best to speak loudly enough for all to hear, but it was still frustrating.

Cash and his chair

Cash loves to hang out in this chair- he climbs right on (or sometimes stands on) and can hang out for a while (about 5 minutes) it is really cute. He continues to grow and climb on everything and open every cupboard.
