A Trip to the Dentist

Cash went to his first Dentist appointment this week and he loved it! He willingly climbed right into the chair after Sydney was through and did everything he was asked to do. A huge relief for me-

Easter Fun

Sydney and Cash were so excited when a package arrived from Grandmas-after the candy was consumed Sydney got doen to business making the Easter crafts that were inside. Thanks Mom-they loved it!

Inside Slide

Santa brought our kids an "Inside Slide" as Sydney calls it- it as been heaven sent getting through these winter months- Cash especailly loves to clim all over it.

Why I don't Blog

Ok- I seriously have every intention of regularly blogging, but it just seems like things get in the way or as you can see the other day a dog got in the way-

Lets Play Ball

I brought Cash a Dodgers hat back from my trip (I could not find an Angels hat)he loves it, but anytime he has the hat on he has to have a ball-so we got out the tee ball set and he had so much fun-and thankfully he appears he has Johnny genes and is coordinated-unlike me :)

Pitty Party-no need to RSVP

So I invited myself to a little hormone/stressed induced pitty aprty today brought on by the diagnosis that my 3 year old oven would have to be replaced-I know in the big scheme of things replacing a oven is not a huge deal, but for me at that moment I was so frustrated- so thank you Mom (Johnny thanks you too) for answering your phone and letting me have a pitty party. I am much better now-

Update: Johnny fixed the oven! It was only a loose wire that had to be wiggled! I am so grateful.

St Patrick's Day

As previously stated I love celebrating holidays-even the little ones. My big plans of making rainbow cupcakes with Sydney for St. Patrick's Day were not going to happen since my oven decided to die on Sunday and the repair guy could not fix it when he came today- and since Darby O'Gill and Little People is a little scary still-we settled on eating Lucky Charms- oh well there is always next year.

So a couple of weeks ago while I was in California for my girls weekend with my mom and my sisters, our Stake President called trying to track down Johnny (my cell number is the one listed in the directory) so after sort of avoiding the call the Stake President came to our home to extend a call to Johnny- Elders Quorum President!! Johnny was very humbled to say the least and of course my less than Christlike attitude emerged with thoughts of how much time will this take? He cannot move anyone because of his back surgery-but then one glimmer of sunshine came through the clouds-he would have to shave!!!!! So goodbye mustache March hello Elder's quorum (too bad this calling does not last a month :)- but Johnny I know you will do great because you love to help others)
